Welcome

Hello this website is about my Sylva Mojo kit car. The Mojo is sold by Sylva Autokits and neither I nor this website has any affiliation to Sylva Autokits.

On this site I hope to share with you the building of the Mojo, the problems I came across, how I solved them, the completion of the car and the SVA test. I will also follow on with post SVA modifications, the driving experience, and my participation in sprinting the Mojo at Curborough.

I had always wanted to build a kit car and it was 2004 when I decided to build  the Mojo, I had always liked the Sylva Striker, and when I found out that Sylva had launched the Mojo I was equally impressed. Although the early ones were mighty ugly in my opinion, the Mojo2 was much better I also came across the build diary of Neil Everett which provided good inspiration to go ahead. I visited Sylva late 2004 and had a ride in the then demonstrator, and discussed all the engine options with Jeremy. I placed my order and paid my deposit in February 2005, just to help the build along I then moved house!  I collected the chassis in June 2005 to start the build. The build finished October 2007, in time for the winter!
